Hello lybrate-user, it's safe to have sex usually in second trimester unless your partner has any complications in pregnancy. Females would be more stable during this trimester emotionally and physically. Less complaints of nausea and other complaints and due to harmonal changes usually desire is more during this trimester. Less uterine contractions so less chances of abortions during second trimester. But make sure you partner is not having any complications in her pregnancy. Hope this answers your query.
