I've joined a gym recently. I'm a vegetarian. I would like to ask what would be the best diet for me to gain muscles? My weight is 54 kgs. BMI is around 21-22. Age 20.

You can start with dairy products with a balance diet of vegetables and fiber. Don't do much of vigorous exercises. Gradually you can start with and include dairy products on the same note! as well all legumes based things will work for you.
