I am 34 year old male and in a highly depressed state. My mother expired 5 days ago and I am unable to digest the fact. I am aware of the cycle of life and all that stuff, but its just that I am unable to remove the fact from my mind. As a result I am ending up semi consious or lot of gastric problem is formed due to anxiety. I have visited cardio, gastro entro doctors and everything is normal. I have been put on" escitalopram oxalate - 10mg" 1 each at night. Kindly advise.

That is right, you're suffering from mixed anxiety and depression, that medication is so right, but it takes time, simultaneously you need to make some changes in thought process, and need to be more flexible
