You seem to be in a sadness related depression and it is of recent affect. This makes your ability to handle it better and stronger, if you reach out to a counselor soon. It is good you like the company of your friends and can therefore keep in touch with them often and for long durations. In other words, do everything possible in your spare time to be with people. If you are staying with your family, then the other times can be spent with them until you have to sleep. Do not sleep beyond 6.30 am, every day. Get into a healthy routine of exercise, good diet, and proper sleep habits, soon. There is some sadness from your past that is the culprit. Can you identify it? if not, the counselor will help you. Normally, at late adolescence, issues that were not resolved earlier will come for the last time, seeking a resolution. If it is not resolved, like in your case, you could have a permanent negative trait in your personality and it can disturb you enough to depress you. The sadness will naturally precipitate a lot of tears. That too you must do with someone, never alone. In fact your asthma has a good chance that it was also induced by some deep rooted sadness. It makes it really worthwhile to investigate this sad emotion from your past and deal with it soon.
