Im having heavy periods for quite some years but they would end up within 3 days so nothing was out of the normal .but recently an enlarged uterus with a heterogeneous myometrium was found. I have an intramural fibroid measuring 2 cm and a nabothian cyst around the cervix. Also my ovaries are enlarged measuring 4 cm with numerous tiny follicles. Dr. has advised vaginal hysterectomy. Should I go for it or should I opt for abdominal hysterectomy? Im 49 years old.
