For the past 4 months my left side tooth are paining. I can't able to chew n grind food in that side. My mom saw tooth and found it not tooth-decay. Kindly provide a solution. I am afraid that if I visit Dentist they will remove the teeth. Pain is in centre portion of the teeth.

severe pain may be due to decay/fracture of tooth or impacted wisdom tooth.decay is not always visible by naked eyes.we may require xrays to detect it.it may be on root below the gums.any experienced dentist would first try to save your tooth if its possible.so dont worry about it.so, it would be better if you can share a pic/xray of the region.keep smiling

Hi, first of all check for any broken tooth, if that's not there then the problem will be with the sensitive tooth, as the nerves will be very sensitive to hot and cold food stuff. You didn't mention which tooth. Just left side tooth should be one, if said teeth then I may think of the whole bunch. Try using sensodyne tooth paste twice daily. Tab hifenac p twice daily for 3 days after food. And also do get a dental opg.

Pain can be due to various reasons, not only decay. I suggest you to consult a dentist nearby. He/she will diagnose the problem. But you have the complete control whether to accept or deny a treatment. So there is nothing to worry about.

Tooth pain is commonly due to either tooth moving or a large cavity so if it is large cavity we can do root canal and save and cure the tooth.
