My daughter is developmentally delayed. Recently she had an osteotomy procedure for both her hips as both were dislocated. She has been in bed for the past two months as she was in a cast that covered her from stomach down to her toes. Her cast has just been removed last week. However, she is still in bed. So she developed heat sores on her back just below the neck, with black heads. First we applied diaper rash cream (EziNapi). Few days later, when it did not subside, we spoke to the orthosurgeon who had operated her and the Dr. advised us candiderma powder. But it does not seem to be subsiding. Looks like it is spreading to the left side an downwards. We also doubt if its developing pus too. Looks like the are pressure sores. Will lacto calamine solution help these sores?
