If you already had rct in that tooth and still you are feeling pain then there are chances that the tooth was not properly treated. First you have to get a xray of that tooth then only a dentist can plan the treatment accordingly.

Hello, your case appears to be that of a failed root canal treatment (rct). Ideally, in an rct-treated tooth, there is no vital tissue or nerve that can cause pain. However, in your case, it seems as if the procedure was not done properly. Taking pain killers will only provide transient relief. Most likely, you will be required to undergo a re-rct to get permanent riddance from this problem. Before initiating the re-rct, however, you will be required to take a 3-day course of medication.
