I am 18 years old male. I was suffering from kerato conus since I was 10. Reports say that it is stable now. But in the years, it has affected my sight a lot. I have great numbered specks. Can you please suggest me any way for the recovery of my eyesight? (other than operation). Also can yiu tell me the cause of kerato conus? In my case, it is not genetic. Please help.

keratoconus can be genetic or usually associated with childhood allergy or habitual eye rubbing.. if its stable, it doesnt require treatment . just glasses or contact lens would suffice.. an annual topography is required. if progressive then surgery called as c3r is required to stabilise it but it cannot be reverted back or cured
