There is 50% chance that the baby growing inside will be rh +ve. During pregnancy she will be given 2 injections to neutralise and +ve blood of the baby that may have entered her body. In this way there will no reaction from her side. During delivery also same injection will be repeated. All this helps to prevent mother-child reactions in second and subsequent pregnancies. Coombs test is done to check for reactions and the growth and well being of the baby is monitored closely with ultrasound and ctg. Delivery is adviced at 37 weeks.
