In our living room there is a can of water with a pipe. The can is near the main door through which we enter our house. I went there to drink water and I was holding the glass under the pipe to fill water. At that time my back was facing towards the main door. At that time I felt like something poked on my hand and I felt like someone was standing behind me. I stood there to fill my glass for 1 to 2 minutes because the water flow was slow. I ignored it that day. But the site where something poked was reddish and paining. The next day there is a reddish round small bump there and it is paining. I am worried that someone might have poked on my hand with a syringe filled with blood. Because our main door was a little bit open and not locked. My mom and everyone else were in the room inside. I am worried about hiv or hep. Please explain how does a site where a syringe was poked will look like? Will the there be blood there? Will the bleeding stop immediately? Will there be a small wound or bump the next day with pain? I am really worried that I can't concentrate on anything. Please reply soon. Please anyone reply soon.

You should go and consult a general physician. He will examine your wound site and to nullify your doubts regarding hiv and hep, you can undergo simple tests.
