My father has diabetes and he' s taking regular pills can he switch to insulin. Which one is better pills or insulin. He is 61 years old and suffering from diabetes from the last 10 years. He is 174 cm long and weighs 72 kilograms.

Insulin is better, but if he is very well controlled with low dose of tablets, then we can think about tablets. His current medicines, sugar levels are needed to tell which one will be the best option.
