Mr. Lybrate-user, what is your recent or present tsh level? if hypothyroidism is not in control (tsh levels should be between 3 milli units to 4 milli units/ml), the symptoms of hypothyroidism will not go away. So get the test done and report the levels. Iam sure you are following the dosing instructions properly - to be taken on empty stomach, early morning and nothing to be eaten for next 2 hours. Plus you have to avoid soy beans, soy containing products, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, radish, mustard, peanuts and coffee. Consume more of green leafy vegetables and salads, fruits. Use whole grain flour for making chapati and roti. Plus exercise for 1 hour a day in order to avoid weight gain. Regurgitation can be helped by regular exercise, further after food stay upright for about 3 hours. Take more frequent but smaller meals in a day. Also avoid spicy and high fat foods that will help reduce regurgitation. Occasionally can take antacids.
