I m going thrgh a separation. One year since I m separated. I m a teacher who has recently resigned cause I was not gtng enough time to decide abt my life n future. Presently m just tryin to do thins tat mk me happy. I do feel loneliness. N sumtimes worthlessness. My question s hv I taken the right decision to give time to myself?

Dear , you are feeling this separation stress, anxiety and other problem every other (when they go through separation problems). You should be able to distinguish between disappointment and depression. Disappointment also brings on symptoms identical to depression but they are short lived. You must be able to distinguish between mental disease and mental disorder. Your problem is a mental disorder. Not a mental disease. Therefore no medicines are required. Mental disorder can be successfully treated with the help of awareness, meditation, psychotherapy techniques, life style changes etc.
