Dear lybrate-user, you have been suffering from epilepsy. In many epilepsy persons, eeg may be normal. Your neurologist will adjust the dose of urbanyl and keppra according to your need. You need to maintain a diary with date, time, memory lapses duration, precipitating factor, forgetting to take the tablets, etc and take it to the neurologist. Loss of consciousness and occurrence in sleep are features of epilepsy. After the episode, at times you may be semi conscious for some time. It causes memory issues. Don't worry. You are in good hands. With adjustment in dose, your episodes will be fully under control and there will be no forgetfulness. Please remember that you can not stop these tablets just because you did not have any episode for months together.

From the medications it can be gathered you are on treatment for seizure disorder. In generalised seizures the affected person loses consciousness and does not know what is happening. The doctor or your family should have explained this to you. It is surprising you do not know. Take medications as advised by your neurologist. Good luck.
