I am 56 years old suffering from ankylosing spondylosis for last three years. I am having severe left hip joint pain, stiffness in neck and both thighs. Can I get some treatment in home?

Aside from seeing your doctor regularly and following your prescribed treatment plan, staying active is probably the best thing you can do for ankylosing spondylitis. Regular exercise can help relieve pain, improve posture, and maintain flexibility. Before beginning an exercise program, speak with a physiotherapist about designing a program that?s right for you. Another important thing you can do for yourself is to practice good posture and sleep on a firm mattress and avoid the use of a pillow in order to prevent spine curvature.
