Dip a small cotton ball in clove oil easily available at medical stores. Put it in the cavity. This will surely reduce pain. But you should consult your dentist as soon as possible. Just remedies and medicines won't work for a long period of time or medicines may cause side effects too if used in large quantities. Proper treatment after clinical examination of the tooth is important to save it, relieve it from pain and infection and decrease or stop the usage of medicines, hence reduce or save you from possible side effects.
