I am 46 year lady, had fever for 15 days and diagnosis for tuberculosis, my fever came down but I have swollen in my both feet below ankle and have pain my ESR is 70 and CRP is 7.45. Globulin is 3.9. I had been given antibiotics IV. I am on 28 days ATT, having medicine for last one week, Now I have been advice for omnacortil 40 mg for swollen, please advice should I take this medicine, what are side effect of this.

what are your reports confirming TB. Any test done for arthritis. Your globulin may be on higher side and may be a reason for swelling. Get LFT done. Omnacortil should not be taken if no arthritis .
