You gain weight naturally without using supplement because supplement is much expensive as you mentioned you are from middle class family. You do muscle building exercise at home for weight gain. Use dense vegetables like sweet potato with white potato, peas, corn, carrot etc. Take banana 3-4pcs/day. Use whole cream milk. Take cake, pastries, chocolate, ice cream more. Add ghee, cream, butter, honey with food more. Eat more egg, fish, lean mean, lentil, soybean, soy milk, soy product, yogurt, peanut, sprout etc. Use extra oil in cooking. No water just before or during meals. Drink lots of water. Avoid smoking, alcohol. You can use protein supplement but you have to take these foods along with that otherwise you can't get all the nutrition properly. Take quality sleep and stay stress free.
