My daughter is 11 years old and she has strange problem just like her mother has and I am suspicious whether the problem is hereditary! my wife has a habit of tying rope to both calfs every alternate day and she told she ties it to avoid severe pain and this pain she had since childhood. Due to some unavoidable circumstances she got separated and left me leaving our daughter at the age of 14 moths of age. Now my daughter is 11 years old and she too complains of similar pain in calfs almost every night. I had a consultation with pediatrician and she told these are growing pains and no need to be panic and the pains will vanish as soon as she grows old. But to my utter surprise my daughter too started tying her calfs with chunni due to pain at night which made me helpless. Now myself only mother and father to her. I really curious to know the exact problem behind and if any treatment / permanent cure available. Thanks in advance for helpful suggestions.
