I am having piles and it seems like my internal hemorrhoid is bleeding. Usually I used to have problem with external one and I used to take 20 ml duphalac in night for five days and I have seen the difference on the next day itself. But now I am not getting relief even when I have taken 20 ml in morning and night. I am 6 weeks pregnant and I am not sure how dosage is safe for me? Kindly advise to get relief from this bleeding and pain.

Regarding the safety of duphalac for you I think it's best to consult your obstetrician. As far as matter of hemorrhoids go, it's a very common trouble faced by many pregnant women around the world. It's much more bothersome during third trimester but can have symptomatic episodes during other trimester. Conservative management with ointments, pads and/or laxatives is usually good enough to control these. I feel you should consult a surgeon in person once or else consult online with all medical history and investigation done if any. That should help you.

Include physical activity in your daily routine. Being active can help prevent pregnancy constipation. Include more fiber in your diet. Choose high-fiber foods, such as fruits, vegetables, beans and whole grains. If you take iron supplements, mention the constipation to your health care provider.
