Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. Your hba1c% is a bit high. At your age ideally it should be < 6.5%, fbg should be < 100 mg & pp 150 to 170 mg. Since there is no mention of fasting, pp glucose levels, dietary habits, weight, height, lipid profile and bp readings it is difficult to comment and also give suggestions for improving the situation. You have mentioned "taking glycomet in the morning" there is no dosage (whether 500 mg or is glycomet gp 1 mg or 2 mg) unless all the specifics are given, there is no way to help. My suggestion is please come back with all the above mentioned details, preferably in a private conversation where you can up load all the reports and based on those details I will be able to give specific guidelines and even prescribe medication if required. In this communication we are supposed to give general guidelines no drugs can be recommended or prescribed. Or else please consult your local physician and get necessary up grade done. I hope you understand. Another aspect with uncontrolled glucose peripheral neuropathy symptoms like tingling and numbness in feet, hands may be felt. Then general lethargy and tired feeling can also be there. Madam also get your thyroid function test done. Some times if that is not detected, can also be problematic. Thanks.
