Abhilashaji, If sugar level is shown as 140 mg after food it is still normal. But creatinine level of 1.4 isat the upper limit. Looking at his height and weight, his BMI id 27.46 kg /M2 which is means he is over weight. If he reduces weight by about a few kgs, that will help in bringing sugar levels lower and also creatinine. His Ideal Body Weigh should be 72 kgs. Foods to avoid include excess sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, aerated sweetened drinks, alcohol, red meat, egg yolk and high fat containing cheese. He should increase intake of green leafy vegetables, salads, fruots and whole grain products. Avoid refined foods like items made of maida. Should exercise for at least 1 hour a day, brisk walking is quite ideal. Should take diet giving exact calories based on IBW and level of physical activity, extra food will increase weight.
