I am 24 years old. I overeat at meals, but I can't help it. If I limit my portions, I'm hungry an hour later. How can I avoid overeating and have better control of my appetite? My height is 5'3 and weight is 67 kgs.

Hi lybrate-user, you are doing good in controlling portions and there's no harm in frequent eating or eating small portions at short interval of time. The need is to choose healthy options. You can binge on healthy roasted snacks/namkeen/makhana/fruits/salads/any clear soup/fresh seasonal juice/herbal juices/coconut water. 2) another option is to drink water before meals. That will help you in overeating. 3) you can also split your meals like if you are suppose to eat chapaties with veg+dal+curd+slaads. So do not all of these together. You can eat a bowl of salads first, after some time chapati with veg, then a bowl of dal and after half an hr curd. In this way you will never feel hungry and of course no overeating too.
