I just don't enjoy the things I used to, and I don't feel much like visiting friends or family. Is this part of aging?

Age is nothing to do with enjoying your activities and not wanting to visit friends and family. And you are just 22! it is a person's mental and emotional state that is responsible for such thoughts and behaviours. I have seen 75 year old people enjoying tremendously in social gatherings and enjoying their life. Yet I have also seen 15 year olds so disappointed in life that they have cut them selves from active social interactions. This means that it is your own experiences which make you respond to life in different ways. 1. I am sensing disappointment and sadness with yourself and others, from your statements. I suggest that you undergo counselling to learn tips and techniques to manage social relationships and expectations from self and others which seems to have taken a hit in your case. Withdrawing from people may be a short term solution but never a long term solution because humans are social animals and need each other for their survival and achieve their fullest potential. 2. Some amount of self awareness and" other" awareness can help you to build bridges again with your friends and being able to appreciate differences while accepting similarities is definitely a desirable trait in people in these fast changing times. 3. Disinterest in your own actions might be coming from doing stuff that you don't want to do or may be below your skill level or some other reason. A counsellor will be able to help you to direct your daily and weekly activities in a direction which makes sense and meaning to you so that you feel a sense of achievement and fulfillment.
