2 month ago I got scaphoid fracture on left wrist. After ignoring for 1 month thinking it's a sprain. Then after a month I got xray and ctscan by which doctor suggested for casting for 6 weeks. It was 4 weeks completed after casting but I was feeling little pain sometimes. So instead of going hospital in covid I but today medicines for fast healing of bone from medical store. He gave me calcimax k2 plus (once a day) & calcitas d3 sachet once a week. Is this medicine is correct for faster bone healing? If not kindly provide the name of medicines for the same.

Healing of bone is natural process. Your wrist pain could be due to lack of exercise after removal of cast. Also this kind of injury sometimes cause decrease of blood supply of bone which can cause pain.

Take normal balance diet rich in vitamins and minerals. Plaster should have been applied on day one.

hello there greetings scaphoid fracture when given cast in fresh fracture takes 3 month to unite. you have given cast after a month. i will take more time to unite. medicines are good however make sure you are not smoking or taking tobacco in any form. keeping away from passive smoking as well. you may also try hadjod supplement from himalya for faster union of bone. i hope that helps
