You should avoid the precipitating factors of migraine, like 1. Fatigue 2. Stress 3. Anxiety 4. Cold or warm weather 6. Sunlight 7. Sleep deprivation/insomnia 8. Food: certain specific food can precipitate headache, like chocolate. Being empty stomach can also cause headache 9. Activity: exertion can precipitate headache 10. Journey 11. Reading there are three different levels of migraine treatment: 1. Preventative treatment (to prevent the episodes of headache) 2. Acute treatment (for the treatment of an attack) 3. Rescue treatment (dealing with an attack if acute treatment does not work)
