Hello doctors from the past 4 years if I woke up with one side nose block then I am having a savior pain in left side ear above nerve (temple) like a heat beat, I can sense that beat with touch also, and pain I can sense for ear back side too, if press that nerve pain getting back too much. If I go to sleep while pain it's vanishing in sleep only. The pain duration is upto minimum 8 hrs is it migraine or temporary arteritis? Should take it seriously? Please suggest me.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you. It is normal for the nose to alternate being obstructed on one side, then change to being obstructed on the other. This is called the nasal cycle. The nasal cycle is normal, but being aware of the nasal cycle isn't typical and can indicate nasal obstruction. Preference for sleeping on a particular side.
