Dear Mr. Behera, cholesterol is a natural content in many foods as well as body synthesizes the same from the lipids we consume. Saturated fats consumption result in higher cholesterol generation by the liver. So avoid deep fried material especially foods cooked in ghee (fried) or saturated vegetable oil (vanaspati ghee). Please note that consuming foods with high cholesterol written on label may not increase the blood cholesterol levels as well as foods which are low in total cholesterol can result in high cholesterol levels. Your body metabolism has a lot of roll to play. With your height and weight I believe your bmi is fairly ok. Please let me know why you are asking this question, is it due to a blood test showing high cholesterol or you want to remain healthy which is a great thing to do?
