Simple solution and most primary and effective one is make a habit of lesser caloric consumption than you spend roughly. That's called negative caloric intake balance. For spending calories you have various methods like physical work out, hot water drinking, some herbal medicines use, deep breathing/'kapal bhati' etc. For lesser caloric intake you do not have to starve. Simply increase leafy fibers, sugarless/ sugar restrictions, fat restrictions, protein increase after workout etc.
