Tips for weight gain 1) eat foods rich in protein like milk and milk product, eggs, chicken, meat. 2) eat energy dense foods like nuts, dates, potato, halwa, kheer etc. 3) eat fruits high in energy like banana, chickoo, sitaphal, mango, grapes. 4) eat two servings of pulses in a day esp. To gain weight eat more food more often. Drink whole cream milk or milk shake. Use weight gainer supplement. Take more ghee, butter, cheese, honey, cream with your food. Eat whole wheat, whole grain, brown rice, brown bread etc. Take more protein rich foods like fish, egg, lean chicken, soy products, peanuts etc. Eat more dense fruits, vegetables. Take dry fruits, banana, chikoo, sweet potato, white potato, carrot etc in excess. Add cream with tea/coffee. Avoid fast foods as far as possible. Drink lots of water and proper rest.
