Confirm that the contact lens you are using is not tight for you. If they are tight fitting then ask your doctor to give you better fitting ones. Do not wear lenses for more than 6-8 hours a day. Use some preservative free lubricating eye drops (preferably those which come in unims) 3-4 times/day (they can be used over contact lenses too). Use contact lenses with high oxygen permeability and use monthly disposable lenses or daily disposable lenses. Get your eye checked frequently and if the vessels are growing then you may need to stop using lenses for few months.
