I have been taking thyronorm 12.5 regularly for over a year. I have had my tsh value diagnosed to be 7.1 yesterday. Should the dosage change? I haven't been able to consult a doctor due to festivities. My height us 4'10 and weight around 60 kgs.

Hello, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. If TSH is not with in the specified range of 3 to 4 mU/L, most of the symptoms of the condition are likely to come back. So you need to increase the dosage of Levothyroxine to 25 mcg a day. Then after 6 weeks please check TSH , it should be maintained as mentioned above. That will help in remaining free from the symptoms of hypothyroidism. If you have any questions please do come back. Thanks.
