I did a tvs on the 13th day of my menstrual cycle, the following was the measurement of the uterus 5.7 cm by3. 0 cm by3. 0 cm and endometrial thickness was 9.0 mm. I repeated same scan on rhe 20th day of my menstrual cycle, I got the following uterus measurement 7.2 cm by 3.9 cm by 4.0 cm and endometrial thickness of 11. 0 mm. What could be responsible for the variance in the uterus measurement?

Dear User, the uterine wall or the endometrium thickens as it is getting ready to get implanted in case of a pregnancy. In case of no implantation of the embryo, the endometrium sheds getting ready for the next cycle and this goes on and on and on every month. The shedding is when the woman has her so called "periods" as it sheds out through the vagina. If you found my answer helpful, please leave a Positive feedback as it helps me with my Practice.
