I have been bitten by a bat and a dog also eight years ago but at that time I did not take any vaccination. So am I prone to infection of rabbis?

No you are not prone to rabbis because you are bitten by bat or dog. Boy you should be careful about animal bite again.

The period before rabies occurring after a suspected bite is 1 year in most cases, ie up to 95 to 97% of cases. So in your case the risk of development is almost nil. So also you are not sure that the animals were diseased. So rest assured. If you are very worried go to your nearest government hospital; and they will guide you.
