My 5 year daughter has asthma. What is the effect of using an asthma preventer long time? I heard that using for the year might cause bone shrinkage. Is it true?

High doses of inhaled steroids taken long-term, however, may decrease bone density, which increases the chance of bone fractures. People older than age 50 should have regular bone density scans and take calcium and vitamin D supplements. But a your daughter is just 5 so you can go for such medicines if you likes so.Myself being a homoeopath will suggest you to go for homoeopathic treatment.a homoeo meddicines dont have any side effects.
