I (female) want to conceive and feel menstrual pain. My doctor prescribed me norethisterone tablet i.p 5 mg. While searching online I found it to be a birth control pill. Is the search result right? Should I consume it?

If you want to concieve don't take it. Then you have to take simple painkillers for menstrual pain.
