Hello Type 1 DM is due to absolute insulin deficiency. So for them Insulin is the only thing which is required and oral medication which are available are contraindicated I am sorry to tell you that it needs to be controlled with regular insulijn doasge and regualr checkups but unfortunately it cannot be treated permanently Thanks Dr Joozer Rangwala
