I'm 23 and was diagnosed with pcos around 4 years ago. I take 2 500 mg metformin tablets daily with my main meal. My periods have still been irregular while on the pills. Due to corona, the metformin tablets were out of stock so I switched to glucophage for around 3 months and on 22nd august I switch back to metformin. My period has stopped since june and i'm worried there's a chance i'm pregnant. On 17th august I was fooling around with my boyfriend but we never had sex (haven't had sex at all) but he fingered me after he touched himself (he hadn't finished yet). On the first september I got a dark red/brown discharge and thought it was my period, but the flow was lighter (barely noticed it unless I saw the pad or wiped after I peed) and this only lasted two days. Is there a chance it was implantation bleeding or simply spotting? I can't tell where my cycle is at.
