Am 27 age. Its been 2 years I got married. I did 2 abortions during the first 6 mntys of marriage. Now I am trying to conceive from last 3 months, I got positive pregnancy test nd I got periods in nxt 2 days. I.e same day I was expecting my period. Doc prescribed me ovabless tablet. My question is 1. How much time on an average it takes to get pregnant. 2. I did abort my 2 pregnancy earlier with in 1.5 months. I.e 15 days after my expected periods. Does this effect fertility nd does this can be the reason for miscarriage? Thnk you.

Hi lybrate-user. The first time you got a positive pregnancy is called a biochemical pregnancy. Answering your questions 1. According to guidelines worldwide, when you actively try for 1 year and you still don't get pregnant, that is classified as infertility. And if it is one year of actively trying you should see a doctor. 2. If the first abortions have not been done surgically, it usually does not cause infertility. Â
