My son is 2 and half years old. He has got cough for last 4-5 days. Weather was changing from cold to hot so I thought he caught cold etc and due to that he had coughs. I gave him Flucold syrup but to no avail. What to give for cough? Thanks.

Cold and cough are most commonly due to viral infections. Cough in children can be treated with home remedies as honey/humidified air. Post-viral cough can persist for a week or so. In case of persisting cough along with fever or breathing difficulty need to see a doctor.
