Hello lybrate-user. Sorry about your trouble. Proper eye hygiene is the key for you. In addition to the medication given to you, keep your eyes clean by washing daily 4 to 5 times with clean hands and clean water. Wash gently. Do not rub your eyes with fingers, handkerchief, cloth material, etc. In case you need to wipe your eyes, use disposable paper napkin (if possible). Also, another suggestion is regarding hot water fomentation. Use a sterile cotton and dip it into lukewarm water and gently massage your eyes. Do this 2 times in a day if possible. Another suggestion-while bathing, use johnson baby shampoo to apply on your eyelids and allow it to remain there for 2 minutes. After, this wash it off. This will result in debulking of debris that has accumulated throughout the night. All these suggestions may take a while to sink in and imbibe in your routine. Once followed, they are sure to work wonders for you.
