Hello hope you are doing well 1) oily skin is more prone to acne breakouts as compared to other skin types due to an increased sebum production that clogs the pores leading to break outs. So inorder to maintain a healthy skin, you need to balance out sebum on your face. 2) for post acne marks, there are many skin lightening agents such as kojic acid / glycolic acid / acelaic acid that can be used long term with a good safety profile. These ointments should be applied only at night because it makes skin more photosensitive and also daytime application of sunscreen of spf not less than 50 is mandatory. You can use melaglow, as it contains few natural lightening agents, though the above mentioned ingredients would be better any skin hyperpigmentation would take about 4-6 months to revert back, so please do not panic. 3) also follow these simple measures- - do not pick on your acne as it lead to scarring which could be deep and permanent -do touch your face with unclean hands - do not scrub you face -avoid cosmetic products unless the present flare-up subsides -apply a sunscreen with spf not less than 50 - relax yourself, and make yourself stress free ,as stress is a big contributing factor. -avoid oily food, junk food, dairy products ,egg yolk, fatty and too spicy foods. 4) also take care and be aware about few of the reasons that causes these acne lesions - high consumption of dairy products - cola, caffienated drinks, aerated drinks, high sugary foods - high humidity - over application of moisturizers and creams clogging the pores - excessive sebum secretion inherently. - picking/ squeezing acne, abrasive washing or frequent scrubbing for acne specific treatment kindly send a photo of the lesions so that I can guide you according to the severity. Hope your query is cleared thank you stay safe.
