Ello. I am female with dry-normal skin and residing in a hot climate area. Its been more than a years time, I am facing hyperpigmentation around mouth and a dull skin. Have taken ointments for the same but its of no relevance during peak summers and sun. Pigmentation happens to clear up during winters. Have been using uv2ir sunscreen religiously and some ointments (lumivoid, cortisone,benzadp, kojivit)as prescribed by my dermatologist. It would be a great help if I can get assistance further.

You can apply aloe vera juice/gel from its leaf (fresh), not from ready made gels available in market. Remove skin of an aloe vera leaf. Take /scoop out gel. Apply this gel to your skin. Wash with plain water after an hour. Or keep it overnight. Use some sunblock with spf (at least 50) every time you go out in sun. Apply it 30 mins before going out wear full sleeves shirt.Use umbrella when going in sun. For more details you can consult online.

Pigmentation of face can be due to be due to multiple causes, like nutritional deficiencies like b12 deficiency, ferritin deficiency, hormonal imbalances like thyroid, pcod, sensitive skin, genetic factors, obesity etc .we should examine and find out the cause and prescribe accordingly. For time being continue your sunscreen and use lumivoid cream.
