Follow diabetes diet which simply means eating the healthiest foods in moderate amounts and sticking to regular mealtimes. A diabetes diet is a healthy-eating plan that's naturally rich in nutrients and low in fat and calories. Key elements are fruits, vegetables and whole grains. U can take (moderate amount) grapes. Apples. Berries. Citrus fruits. Papaya. U should avoid sugar-sweetened beverages. Sugary beverages are the worst drink choice for someone with diabetes. Trans fats sugar, cake, pastries mithai/sweets chocolate fruits like mango, litchi etc. White bread, pasta fruit-flavored yogurt. Sweetened breakfast cereals. Flavored coffee drinks. Honey 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or soaked almonds or any seasonal fruit. No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. 3. Have light meals every 2 hours (in addition to your breakfast, lunch n dinner) e.g. Nariyal paani, chaach, a handful of dry fruits, a handful of peanuts, seasonal fruit, a cup of curd/milk etc 4. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before going to sleep. 5. Maintain active life style 6. Avoid fast foods, spicy n fried foods 7.take a lot of green vegetables n fruit. 8. Drink lot of water. 9.curd is good for u. Exercise in the form of yoga, cycling, swimming, gymming, walking etc. Now about point no. 5. You should join a gym for weight training. Madam your weight is very high as your bmi is 44 and you have morbid obesity since you have hypertension, hypothyroidism and weight gain it means you do not have diabetes as yet if you have not been diagnosed with diabetes and normal sugar level if done after 8-10hiurs of fasting is less than 100 in your case it is 120hence it comes under fasting impaired glucose tolerance please repeat fasting and for post meal take 75gm of glucose dissolved in 2-3 glasses of water instead of breakfast over 5-10 minutes and repeat sugar after 2 hours if fasting and post meal are more than 126 and 200 then you are diabetic also get hba1c for diagnosis and monitoring of last 3 months sugar kevel is you thyroid under control if test not done recently then please do thyroid test and control blood sugar please get following tests done blood sugar fasting and post meal as advised above hba1c ft3, ft4 and tsh do not start metformin as it is not indicated at present reduce your overall diet by 20% and start brisk waking start with 80steps a minute and gradualy increase steps to 120 per minutes and to 45 minutes daily after reports you can consult me privately.

No details about medical advise, investigations done, other medications etc. If you are a confirmed diabetic glycomet 500 should not give you low sugar levels. Proper monitor with reports about fasting, pp nad before dinner blood tests, hba1c test is necessary for better treatment. Proper diet as advised by a dietitian, regular exercise like walking, and efforts to reduce weight, monitoring of thyroid levels will help find a solution.

Hello, Thanks for the query. I have seen the query. Madam blood glucose level 120 mg does not need any treatment at all. It is better if you get an after food (2 hours after taking breakfast or lunch) glucose level, because if that is higher than 200 mg mg (fasting > 126 mg) then only treatment is required. Another important aspect is your excessive weight. Because your present BMI (Body Mass Index) is 43.33 kgs /Sq meter(Normal < 23 kgs/Sq meter). Which means you are in very morbid (very severe) obesity. There is an excess of over 48 kgs. This is the main culprit for showing high glucose level. So if you decide and take steps to even reduce 5 to 10 kgs over a period of next few months your glucose level will come down without needing any medicine. I hope you understand what I am saying.
