I stepped on a nail in my yard 25 says ago. I am feeling some pain in my right leg. Sometimes I take erythromycin and feel a bit better, but afterwards the pain comes back. I can get a tetanus vaccine shot from a pharmacy. Is this recommended? What else can be done? Info: there is very little or. No swelling on the leg. I am not showing any common symptoms of tetanus infection, except for the mild pain in my legs I also have azithromycin. Can this be used? Thanks for the help!
