Hello doc my sister is currently from a kind of advance fibroids. Her stomach has become big as if she is pregnant. She consulted and the specialist she saw said he can not go ahead and do a surgery because of the risk and in case he needs to do the surgery he is going to remove the fibroids and the womb in order to keep her alive. We need to get another opinion. What can we do please?

Removal of womb is advisable if she is not keen to preserve. If she wants to preserve surgeon can try to at time of surgery but if not possible will remove. Second opinion is always by meeting another gynecologist who can personally take history, examine and see all reports.
