Hi doctor, my wife aged 32 had some pain in her right part of stomach. She had vomiting 2 times. Wwe immediately approached nearest physician, after checking up he asked to go for ultrasound. In the report, it says there are 3 stones in the kidney of size 20 mm, 12 mm and 6 mm. He said we should go for surgery and remove those. Is really surgery required? Pls suggest.

Hello Lybrate user as per renal stone issue, and bigger one is 20 mm and may it can make your wife in trouble anytime. You have to go for planned surgery better than have to run in emergency.
