Its been 6 8 month I am taking olmat 20 for my hypertension (140/80 -150/80) generally which is prescribed by my family doctor bcz of our family history of heart attack so is it necessary to continue it?

Your bp. You should not stop bp tablet. It only 'controls' bp at certain level but does not cure permanently. Don't change bp dosage without consulting your physician.

If it was fulfilling all criteria than, medicationnto be added with lifestyle modification.
