I am 28 years old. I have hypothyroid issues. I'm taking eltroxin 50 mcg. I'm 13 weeks pregnant now. Does having thyroid affects my baby in any way? I took thyroid test last 10 days back .my tsh level is 6. How much dosage should I need to increase to maintain normal thyroid level. I ve been taking eltroxin 50 mcg for past 3 years. Last month only I skipped de medicine for a week. Can you please than the dosage level doc. Due to certain circumstances I didn't mention to my gynaec that i'm having thyroid issues. So she prescribed me thyronorm 12.5 mcg .but i'm taking eltroxin 50. As i'm going to enter 2 nd trimester in a week ,my tsh level should be 0.2-3.could you please then how much dosage I need to increase to maintain that level. Please help me with this doc.
